MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE For The Body Of Christ 2011, January 3

Goooooooooood Morninnnnnnnnnnng 🙂
During this transition time of Christmas ( the celebration of Christ) all the way through this  New Year into 2011, God has been showing me significant parallels. We are in the 11th Hour, it is the deliverance (for God’s elect) and a transition is at hand. Like a Mother’s travail during childbirth, the fret and the sweat are soon forgotten when that new child arrives, grabbing hold of your finger and your heart in one felt swoop! We, as His children; the body, we are in the birthing canal and what is coming is a transition into the fullness of His embrace upon our lives.
A study done years ago was performed to show how strong that trust is between Mother and child; they placed a crawling infant on one side and the Mom on the other and had the Mother motion and call the child toward her. The plexi-glass in between (point A where baby is) and (point B where Mommy is) appears that the floor does not exist; 100% of the time, however,  that baby is going to trustingly crawl toward that Mommy because the child has not learned fear yet! It has no knowledge of danger and the perception falls short of any harm. Likewise, this is why the Lord says we are to be like little children. We are to come to him seeking, asking, learning and receiving. Just like a parent He will provide; all you ever need and all that is worthy of want is in place for you.
The word of God and the Gospel of Christ Jesus is our umbilical cord and lifeline. We are immersed and renewed daily in and through His word. We can also take a lesson from Mary and her obedience to the Lord, through many confirmations and many encouragements the Lord reminded her of His great plan and His unfailing promises. Likewise, we the church are facing this same parallel. God is calling upon our spirit to trust Him, to remain faithful, obedient, loyal. I have called you out and set you apart and soon I shall make your enemies thine footstool. You shall not be greatly moved but they shall be moved greatly. I have refined you as Gold is refined and you have withstood the purging off. We are to be received and embraced into the fullness of His covenant, in part now and one day, fully!
Heavenly Father, blessed be your Holy name Forever and Ever. Father we surrender ourselves entirely to your care and guidance. We seek you as a child seeks it’s parent; looking for that encouragement and yearning for your loving embrace. Father, as we learn to remember this we praise you as you continually go before us surveying the terrain ahead. Your faithfulness toward us is a gift of your sovereign righteousness. Help us to honor you with our first and best in all things, living unto you as an extension of Your body and praising You with all that we have. Father as You equip us in every capacity, likewise direct us where You would have us sew greater seeds into your your kingdom. Let those whom honor You God in their livelihoods, speech and daily interactions find greater opportunities to praise and worship for all to see. We ask this in obedience to Christ Jesus and seek your will in all ways, AMEN!
