James 1:13-14
Just as He would not and does not Tempt us He also doesn’t Test us! As it so often happens, you will hear people say, when things go wrong, or during a terrible hardship, “its a test of your faith”, “God is giving you an opportunity to draw closer to him” …the truth is these beliefs are not true at all! “its a test of your faith” & “God is giving you an opportunity to draw closer to him” WRONG!
God does not do that, does not need to do that! Everyday life is enough of a test of our faith and we have the same opportunity we had when we were three years old as we do now, to get close to Him. That doorway was opened and is held open by the Lord Jesus Christ when He paved the way for us by conquering sin and death!
Many trying things have happened to me, and yes, I suppose, it’s natural for someone on the outside looking in, to wonder why has all these things happened to her and what kind of God puts someone though such trials?! I am here to tell you, NOT MY GOD! He would never do that to me. He knows my every thought, intent, strength and weakness & Loves me regardless! He is always there to support me when I choose correctly and if strength is needed, He is there ready to equip me. He takes every thing that is thrown at me to harm me and converts it somehow, to my good. He may see whats coming (whereas I don’t) but He is tirelessly working to get my attention to thwart off, avoid, or sidestep the plans of the wicked against. Let’s put it this way, maybe if I didn’t have God, such a strong relationship and bond with Him, maybe those things that attempted to come against me would have been able to claim me. overtake me, devour me ~BUT~ they didn’t, couldn’t & cant because I serve a MIGHTY AWESOME GOD! I AM LIVING BREATHING, WALKING PROOF!
One thing, that many do not know along with all of this, is that God does require our permission, submission and faith offering in order to be able work on our behalf, once we are submerged deeply into one of these precarious situations. Sort of like, when you call customer service for help with your computer over the phone, they need permission to step in, to access the computer remotely, to make the necessary changes and instruct you further. Knowing God’s word & being able to access the necessary help is vital to our survival. Consider the 10 commandments as your antivirus ware and obedience to God as your subscription renewal validation.
If you were driving down the road and the allowed speed limit suddenly changed, a new sign appeared on the right and all of a sudden, a speed enforcement officer parked on the left bolts out with sirens and lights to pull you over, you would call that a Speed Trap. God doesn’t deal with us though entrapment, He doesn’t do anything secretively, underhandedly or unlawfully.
God is Sovereign and Just, Fair & Loving, He is incapable of setting us up like that. Not only is it unprofitable, but it would be cruel. A good parent, as He is, would never place their child in a situation or environment where they know they are not equipped, for fear that they would be humiliated or greatly injured. God is no different, in fact He is ultimately concerned with the preservation of everything good within us and because He can’t turn a blind eye to whats wrong withing us, He had to devise a method & plan of provision for how those broken parts could be dealt with. His plan involved His own perfect Son, the model for our existence and we become re-patterned through that redemption so that by the time we arrive in Heaven, we will be totally remade without spot or stain.
Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted; propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Lord, I plead the blood of the lamb protection over me and mine, over all listening, watching, & reading. Over all whom we hold dear, both collectively and individually! Lord, this day, I pay the enemy suffers a wound so deep, that every person who reads this suddenly realizes who the culprit truly is. I pray that many will apologize to You in the spirit, if they were misinformed, misled by the enemy, any who might have accused You wrongly! I pray that every person who is touched by this message is overcome with an all consuming Love for YOU! That many come into communion with You in a rightful relationship with provision for successfully thwarting off the attacks of the enemy! I can hear his scared little feet running away, as he ought to be! Don’t come back here either cause there is more where this came from, according to the MIGHTY WORD of GOD, whom we Honor & Worship & Praise! The armor and word of God shall and will be used against you! So, with that said, Thank you Lord Jesus, Yehushua, we are forever grateful, surrendered, ready, willing & able to serve!
